The Hypocrisy of FaceBook Groups

I was a member of a group on FaceBook that was against misuse of disabled parking by the able bodied.  I made a few posts relating to people using the spaces without a disabled badge, but one post hit a few nerves of people.  I was told that I was uncouth as I told a woman who was very able bodied that she should not use the space as she clearly was not disabled. One member said that my action does not help the disabled, which I find quite an insane remark.

The hypocrisy was that there were lots of posts, and I really to mean lots of posts saying “I keyed the car”, “I put a nail under the tyre, fuck ’em” & “I let their tyres down, bastards!”, yet not a single critique from anyone about the vandalisation of other people’s property, which in my mind is uncouth, and illegal, but I received the remarks.  Needless to say I decided to leave the group as it does not know what it really wants, and I for one didn’t want to waste my time.
